I got home tonight, looked at my newest pair of shoes, and realized something horrific. For the past two years, I have unconsciously been purchasing sensible, teacher shoes. Oh, I thought that I was simply purchasing classic looking footwear that just happened to be ultra comfortable; but alas, I now own three pairs of Clarks, a pair of Born, and a pair...of...Birkenstocks. My greatest fear, that I will one day own a denim jumper with an embroidered schoolhouse and dancing alphabet letters, is coming dangerously close.
I beg of you--intervene before it's too late!!
