Glaciers leap in light of the news
that I am in love with You.
Their crystal hearts twinkle with joy
as researchers tread above –
hot cup of coffee,
complaining of
global warming.
But You and I are in rapture.
You have wooed me long
and I, unworthy,
darting in and out of corners,
have finally placed Your ring
on my finger.
And they're my sisters no longer,
for my heart now unfrozen
lies safely in Your
strong,
beautiful
hands.
